Who are we and what do we do?
Paolo Pileri, Alessandro Giacomel, Diana Giudici, Federica Bianchi, Rossella Moscarelli, Camilla Munno. We are a multidisciplinary research group of the Dipartimento di Architettura e Studi Urbani of Politecnico di Milano, dealing with sustainable mobility, tourist cycling planning, landscape and open spaces, soil consumption and environmental effects. We work on territorial projects that regenerate and revitalise Italian inner areas and their architectural, landscape, natural and human heritage.
In 2010 the research group conceived VENTO, the project for the longest Italian cycle path of the future: 679 km along the Po River banks, between VENezia and TOrino via Milano. A project for culture, territory and beauty through the use of the bicycle.
VENTO is not merely a cycle path, it is much more – just as we would like the tourist cycling project for this country to be.
